How can my specialty make the world a better place?

Everyone at some point in our lives has a fear that floods us, a fear that does not let us sleep and one of my biggest fears was deciding that I want to do the rest of my life. Choosing my university career was difficult, this particular profession faces dozens of criticisms, is immersed in prejudices and stereotypes, and they are scary things, perhaps because we are used to living in a society that judges and categorizes everything, but always my desire to educate was greater. For me in particular, educating and teaching is something like giving up a piece of the world, it's having the power and tools to open children's eyes through love and respect, and that they have the opportunity to explore their environment and themselves freely and safely, that they can be curious, noisy and and happy. In my life I guess I was lucky to surround myself with people who supported and accompanied me on this path of life, so, along with luck, I think it was the same destiny that surrounded me with teachers, who inspired and advised me, from them I could always see the effort, responsibility and passion that this work entails. That is why I think it is brave, that we are brave when choosing Early Childhood Education, because we face fears, whether they are personal or social, same fears that are educated, to educate us and so that we can educate. And that's how I see myself on this learning path, as a brave woman who has the desire and passion to educate children and leave a mark on them, so that they leave a mark on the world. And likewise as my significant figures came into my life by the work of fate, in the lives of the children who arrived in mine, they also arrive, but it's not always so ideal, it's not always the ideal people, nor the best deals or values. Many times we do not know the totality of the reality of each child, we do not know well if they only had a bad day or have had a bad life, however, the child comes into the world perfectly programmed for happiness, so our mission as educators is to collect all the love, happiness and all the learnings and deliver them, so that they today and always seek their best days, his wife lives, so that they may work and think like transforming beings of the world. So from my point of view, my job as an educator is to educate and teach to children to be better people. My job is to weigh their reality and try to improve it day by day. They are the future of our society, that's why that today and the work I do every day affects how they will be in the future. If we educate respectful, aware and loving children, it is what our society will be like in the future, it is the world they will create.

The person who I admire

Hi, as you know, I'm studying Early Childhood Education and I wanted to tell you a little bit about how I felt about it. Usually a teacher carries with many responsabilities but without a doubt the most important is how you should act in a classroom, that is why I often inspire my behavior in some theoretical references that we have talked abuot in classes, the most important and influential for me is Emmi Pikler.

Well, speaking a little more about her, I can tell you that Pikler was born in Vienna on January 9, 1902 and unfortunately he left us on June 6, 1984, however, despite leaving this world physically, his ideas, approaches and theories remain intact to this day. She lived all his childhood in Budapest, and then returned to Vienna in the twenties to study medicine. Emmi returns to Budapest finishing his studies, concentrating on pediatrics in a hospital there, the same city where she meets the one who will be her husband and with whom she will form a family.

His main contribution as a pediatrician is to open the eyes of the world and show another conception of the child, positioning him as an active, competent and capable of initiatives, which leads families to be interested and committed to the autonomous motor development of the child and to recognize the importance of an activity self-induced and driven by the child himself. Pikler managed to work in hundreds of child care and education centers, but without a doubt the cradle-house on Lóczy Street is the most important of them, after the Hungarian government asked her to run the center, she and the other women who work there they devoted themselves absolutely to the physical, affective and mental well-being of children who lack the care of their own parents. It was so much the dedication and concern for children, that the center became the ideal place for children's research, since the results of the Pikler's methodologies and practices contributed strongly to the development of children's lives.

Today Pikler means a before and after in education and in parenting, she put on the table concepts such as "free movement", "stable relationship", "verbal and bodily communication", "autonomous play", "the attentions", "the role of the adult" and "the environment", generating a social impact to such an extent that many Chilean educational institutions take their name to elaborate curriculums and pedagogical practices. Emmi Pikler was great in her work, she left a mark on the past that remains intact and strong in the present and I have no doubt that it will also be in the future.

I hope you liked what I share with you today, I send you a hug.

My favorite meal...

Hello, today I want to tell you something very important about my... it's so important that our friendship could depend on it hahaha I'm just kidding, but anyway it is still important because I will talk about food. My favorite food is probably the "pollo arvejado", it is a typical Chilean food, that just as its name says... it's chicken with peas. In order to prepare this wonderful creation we just need, wait, I will do this in steps. Step 1: We are going to "seal" the chicken, this means that in a pot or pan we are going to brown the chicken on both sides (the amount they want) and we will reserve it for AAAAA Step 2: In a pot we will sauté vegetables in oil, for example: onion, carrot, paprika or any other you want. Step 3: When the vegetables are ready, introduce the chicken (the amount you want) and at the same time we will put water and white wine to create the broth, here we can season with salt, oregano and some pepper. Step 4: We will add the peas at the end and serve. This we can accompany with rice or potatoes, or both haha I prefer the rice.

I think I must say I HATE peas, eating them would be the last thing I would do, but ironically I love this food, probably because I love what this meal in my house means. Imagine a Sunday with a long table full of my relatives, with laughter, conversations and a lot of noise, with background music, salads, drinks and bread, basically no matter what day of the week I eat it, every bite is like that imagination.

I could eat a million dishes with this meal, but actually it wouldn't be that bad because if you think about it it's a healthy meal (in correct portions) it has vegetables, chicken and accompany it with some carbohydrate, add to this that I always accompany it with salads, everything is perfectly balanced ajaja

ok, I think that's it, I hope everything is fine and you dare to cook, Isend u a hug <3

A photo and it's story...

Hi, sometimes it's great to share important moments with people and spread a little joy, that's why I want to share this photo... in this photo I am with my two best friends of a lifetime, we have always shared everything... laughter, crying, travel, clothes, stories and much more, I guess our friendship developed very easily because we were classmates and also because our moms were friends. Then we changed from schools, but our friendship remained intact, even stronger, we tried to see each other every weekend or weekday, sometimes it was a bit difficult, but it didn't matter because we needed to be together... that's why this photo is so important, it was the last day we were all 3 together, as the girl with glasses in the photo (Barbara) went to live in France, as friends we were sad, but the happiness and pride we felt for her was greater than any sadness. We have kept in touch, we almost always make video calls, watch movies, talk or eat something delicious... or all at the same time jajaja their friendship is the most valuable thing I have, they are the people I love most in life, they have seen all my changes and evolution and yet they are still by my side, having them with me despite everything makes me very happy, they are my person (only for fans of grey's anatomy haha) I hope you also have his person.

Keep yourselves safe, spread love and be happy, goodbye <3

My favorite piece of technology

Sometimes i think about how the world has evolved and ¡wow! everything is technology, everything looks new, but in reality it is no..., it is rare.

I could say that one of my favorite technological objects is optical lenses, probably because they have relieved my life. I have myopia and astigmatism and i'm very sure that it is much more comfortable to be with lenses (which by the way are very cute) than to be with a giant magnifying glass on my hand every time I walk, read or am in front of a screen. I know many friends who don't see well with their eyes and I always suggest going to an ophthalmologist since I notice their effort when reading from afar or they tell me that they see blurred. It may sound like an advertising campaign, but if you are reading this and your eyes burn... PLEASE! go to the doctor and wear glasses, they will change your life completely!

I hope you feel good, I send you good vibes and a hug.

My best holidays ever!

Hello, i hope your day is going well... Today i will tell a little about my summer of 2019. It was by far the best vacation my life! maybe because they are the last ones that I could really enjoy, you know, because of the covid and the social explosion in Chile everything was complicated.

Well, here i go... my first trip was to the beach with my group of friends back then, we stayed for a week... ate, laughed and went out, all in excess!

Then i travel to the south of Chile with my grandma and i met many cities, on that trip i went by boat, i met waterfalls, i bathed in lakes and i knew much more about the southern culture.

I went back to Santiago, which is where I live, for "weekend getaways" with my friends or my family to tourist places, we tried new foods and entertaining activities.

In the middle of summer i went back south again! but this time with my mom, we also toured many places and always bought ice cream wherever we went.

I also went to Lake Rapel, there i drove a boat, paddled a kayak and enjoyed the tranquility that there was.

For the rest of the summer I was lucky enough to have small trips to the beach, by the way, I love the craft fairs there!

And that's it, definitely the best summer, I ate a lot, met and was with my favorite people!

I hope it wasn't boring, goodbye... a kiss!

Who i am?

Hello everyone! I'm Joaquina, I don't have an official nickname but sometimes people call me Joaco/a. I want to talk to you about me and my life. I'm 19 years old, my birthday is October 10 and it is a great thing because I love spring even though i'm allergic.

I can also tell you some of my favorite things, for example: i have a little obsession with turquoise and pink, water and coke, romantic and action movies, animals (but not reptiles or spiders), ice cream, Sam Smith (he is a singer), dancing and cabbage

I was born in the city of Santiago de Chile, but i have lived all my life in a small town called Esmeralda surrounded by my big family. I have many cousins aunts and uncles but only my mother, my father, my brother and I live in my house. They are very funny and affectionate, they are my favorite people in the world, also my dogs, Nala and Kuky. Nala is my best friend, she is totally and definitely crazy, that's why i love her so much.

And this is it, bye,

xoxo.
